Eric Huckins

Vice President, Business Development

As Vice President, Business Development, Eric is responsible for growing Lumicera’s business through strategic initiatives that expand and enhance capabilities to meet market current and future market needs. He oversees Lumicera Sales and Account Management teams to further align toward business growth goals and provides oversight of external vendor and partnership relationships and all contracting for pharmaceutical manufacturers, payors, health systems, wholesalers and other strategic partners.

Eric joined Lumicera in 2020 from SSM Health. In his tenure, he has been instrumental in expanding Lumicera’s outsourcing model and limited-distribution drug portfolio. During his time at SSM Health, Eric drove notable growth for the SSM Specialty Pharmacy, developing deep knowledge of the industry during his years with the organization.

Recently, he has helped expand partnerships with new health systems and manufacturers to diversify the organization’s capabilities and service portfolio. He also represents Lumicera through his participation on several committees with the National Association of Specialty Pharmacy and the Pharmacy Society of Wisconsin.

Eric is a Certified Specialty Pharmacist. He received his Doctor of Pharmacy from the University of Wisconsin and his Master of Business Administration with a focus on Healthcare Administration from Concordia University.
