Strong Growth Leads Navitus Health Solutions to Expand Appleton Campus

February 11, 2016

MADISON, Wis., February 11, 2016 – As a result of burgeoning growth, Navitus Health Solutions has begun construction of a second building at its Appleton, Wisconsin, campus. This accelerated expansion is taking place three years ahead of schedule.

Navitus, with headquarters in Madison, Wisconsin, opened its new Appleton campus in September 2013 to accommodate its continued national expansion and associated employee growth. Navitus executives expected the original 70,000 square-foot Appleton building to meet staffing needs for five years before needing to expand. However, within two years, this building was filled beyond capacity and required additional space to house a growing employee base.

“We are extremely excited to be expanding our campus in Appleton to make room for our continued growth over the next several years,” said Navitus President and CEO, Terry Seligman. “We are seeing significant growth at Navitus as our 100% pass-through business model continues to gain traction and momentum in the marketplace,” said Seligman. The pharmacy benefit manager also has campuses in Austin, Texas, and Phoenix, Arizona.

The new 120,000 square-foot, four-story Appleton building will be 70 percent larger than the existing building. Construction is expected to be completed in approximately ten months, with occupancy slated for fall 2016. Potter Lawson, Inc. is the architect for the project and Ideal Builders is the general contractor.

The new building will have capacity for over 500 additional Navitus employees. Navitus has many open positions in its Appleton campus currently, including call center, customer operations, information technology, claims operations, government programs, compliance and auditing. Currently, the company employs nearly 400 employees in Appleton and approximately 600 employees nationwide.
