Navitus Ranked a Top PBM in PBMI Customer Satisfaction Survey Four Years Running

April 30, 2015

MADISON, Wis., April 30, 2015–Navitus Health Solutions, LLC announced today that, for the fourth consecutive year, its clients have ranked it among the top pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs) in the country serving 20 million or fewer members. In addition, clients gave Navitus a score of 9.5 out of 10 in “likelihood to recommend” the company to others.

The annual survey conducted by the Pharmacy Benefit Management Institute (PBMI) surveyed clients of 11 pharmacy benefit management companies (PBMs), including those of four other PBMs in the same size category as Navitus.

Navitus also scored particularly well in the service areas of commitment to good customer service, delivery of promised savings, and meeting financial guarantees. Its account management, retail network options, claims processing, formulary management, and rebate functions, among others, received high marks as well.

“We take great pride in our customer-first, high-touch service model, and it is very gratifying to be so highly rated by our clients for four years running,” said Terry Seligman, President & CEO of Navitus. “Navitus continues to achieve significant national growth, and I am pleased we are doing so without compromising our unwavering commitment to excellence.

“This year’s study, as well as previous studies, validates that those clients with a completely transparent PBM relationship report a higher level of satisfaction. Our full disclosure, 100 percent pass-through model is our guiding business principle—it is the only way we have ever, or will ever, conduct business,” Seligman said.

PBMI conducted the survey in January 2015. Respondents included 421 U.S. plan sponsors representing more than 96.6 million members. For nearly two decades, the PBMI annual customer satisfaction survey has evaluated the quality of services of PBMs as a group and includes individual PBM profiles. The report is available for purchase at www.pbmi.com.
