Witnesses Endorse Grassley’s PBM Transparency Push During Senate Judiciary Hearing
During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing on pharmacy benefit managers (PBMs), Navitus Chief Pharmacy Officer Sharon Faust, PharmD, MBA, joined other witnesses in discussing the impact of PBMs on the drug supply chain and the challenges facing community and rural pharmacies. In response to questions about the PBM Transparency Act, Faust highlighted the Navitus pass-through PBM model, while expressing support for increased industry transparency.
