If you are a full-time or part-time employee and are regularly scheduled to work at least 30 hours a week, you are eligible for Medical, Dental, Vision, Flexible Spending Accounts, Life and Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D) Insurance, Short & Long Term Disability and Optional Life & AD&D Insurance.

If you are a full-time or part-time employee and are regularly scheduled to work at least 20 hours a week, you are eligible for Paid Time Off and Holiday Time based on your FTE (Full Time Equivalency).

Limited Term Employees who work at least 30 hours a week, you are eligible to enroll in the Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life insurance and Retirement based on plan provisions. This is defined as working less than 1 year of service (i.e. less than 2080 hours).

Pharmacy Residents who work at least 30 hours a week, are eligible to enroll in the Medical, Dental, Vision, Basic Life insurance and Retirement based on plan provisions. This is defined as working 1 year of service (i.e. 2080 hours), or less.

If you are at least 21 years old and a full-time, part-time, limited term employee or a Pharmacy Resident, you are eligible for the Navitus Retirement Plan.

All benefits eligible employees will be enrolled in the Employee Assistance Plan.

All employees are eligible to participate in the College Savings Plan as long as they follow the tax guidelines.
Health Insurance
Depending on the employee’s location, we offer the following plans:
- HMO (Madison and Surrounding Area) – Our plan is very comprehensive with a low copayment.
- Multi-Plan PPO (Offered to employees outside of the HMO area) – This plan offers a low deductible in / out-of-network PPO.
Dental Insurance
Navitus’ dental provider allows employees to go to any general or specialist dentist. The nationwide vast network of contracted dentists eliminates balance billing to protect employees.
Deductibles apply to basic and major restorative coverage.
Vision Insurance
The vision program offers participating members a plan for eye exams, glasses and contact lenses. In addition, our carrier offers direct mail order for contact lenses and discounts for laser refractive surgery.
Group Term Life & Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
Navitus provides a basic policy equal to one times the employee’s annual base salary up to a specified maximum.
Optional Life & Accidental Death and Dismemberment Insurance
Navitus allows employees to apply for generous additional insurance for themselves, a spouse and child (ren) at group term rates. This coverage is portable.
Short and Long-Term Disability Insurance
Navitus provides short and long-term disability policies to eligible employees. The short and long-term disability plans offer income protection if an employee is unable to work due to a non-work related accident or injury.
Whole Life Insurance with Long-Term Care – Navitus offers this as an optional plan; it is a permanent insurance protection that provides living benefits for long-term care needs in addition to the long-term disability policy’s income protection.
Critical Illness with Cancer Coverage – Navitus has made this coverage available as an optional plan to help protect employee assets in the event of a covered critical illness.
Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA)
Employees may allot pre-tax dollars to cover medical expenses not typically covered by health insurance (e.g., deductible, copayments and other non-reimbursed medical/dental/vision expenses, etc.) and certain dependent care expenses. These accounts are subject to IRS rules and regulations.
Navitus Retirement Plan
Navitus offers a generous company-matching contribution on a high percentage of compensation with NO vesting requirement. Employees are immediately vested with the company contributions. In addition, there is annual profit-sharing potential for the Navitus Retirement Plan based on satisfaction of designated annual company objectives.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Navitus realizes the importance of balancing work and family responsibilities. Therefore, all full-time or part-time employees who are regularly scheduled to work at least 20 hours a week, are eligible for Paid Time Off.
Holidays
Navitus offers eight paid holidays per year. Typically, the holidays include:
Full Days: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving, the day after Thanksgiving, Juneteenth and Christmas Day. Holidays are based on full time equivalency (FTE) and eligibility status.
College Savings Plan
The Navitus College Savings Plan helps employees save for the cost of higher education. There are no income limits. This program provides several key benefits for employees, including tax savings, flexibility in several investment options and control of withdrawals for the life of the account. The plan can be used to pay educational costs at any accredited, post-secondary school in the United States and can be used for a beneficiary such as a child or grandchild. Anyone can contribute: parents, grandparents, other relatives, friends, etc.
Adoption Assistance Benefit
In order to offer assistance to employees who are building families, Navitus offers the Adoption Assistance Benefit to provide eligible employee up to $5,000 per adopted child up to a lifetime maximum of two children for adoption-related expenses. Employees with at least 6 months of employment in a benefits eligible status prior to the adoption finalization are eligible for the Adoption Assistance program.
Employee Assistance Program
Our employee assistance program provides employer-paid, confidential assessment and referral services to employees and their families.
Paid Parental Leave
Navitus offers four weeks of paid time off to eligible employees for the bonding period following the birth or placement of a child for adoption.
Employees are eligible to utilize the paid parental leave if they have at least six months of employment and are in a benefits-eligible status prior to the birth or completion of adoption (post-placement) of a child.
