Vice President, People & Culture
As the Vice President of Organizational Effectiveness and Talent Development, David develops and implements strategies to cultivate a diverse, equitable, capable and inclusive workforce that will achieve the organization’s strategic and operational priorities. He facilitates onboarding, change management, employee engagement, performance management, succession planning, and development programs and processes. David also serves as staff lead for the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Steering Committee and the Innovation, Diversity and Inclusion Council.
Prior to joining Navitus, David was a consultant and strategic business partner at Simrock LLC, responsible for providing executive-level strategic coaching, enterprise learning and development, and human resources consulting. He previously served as a Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Culture Shift Consulting Group and was Vice President of Talent Development and Optimization at Mercy Health.
Through his leadership, leaders and companies experienced elevated financial results and improved diversity in talent acquisition, targeted workforce development, retention through the reduction of voluntary turnover, and, most importantly, robust employee engagement metrics.
David holds a Master Certificate with a concentration in management and leadership from Michigan State University and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resource Management from Breyer State University — Alabama. He is a Human Resources Senior Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resource Management.
